Description | Quick poppy seed bread |
Bread
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons poppy seeds
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/8 cups cooking oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons almond flavoring
- 2 teaspoons butter flavoring
- 2 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups milk
Glaze
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
Mix all of bread ingredients together. Bake in 2 greased and floured loaf pans at 325( for 1 hour or when a toothpick comes out clean.
Combine glaze ingredients and mix well. Pierce top of bread with a fork and spread glaze on.
