Description | Peanut butter and chocolate Christmas tradition |
1 1/2 lb box confectioners sugar 16 oz jar peanut butter 1/2 lb margarine 16 oz chocolate (we use dark)
Mix and roll into balls - let chill or put in freezer for 10 minutes.
Melt chocolate and dip each ball with toothpick leaving small area without chocolate.
This has become a family tradition. In recent years, we have made a double batch of this recipe for Christmas. In 1996, this produced over 312 buckeyes. In 1997, it produced 311. Thanks to our master mixer Matt and everyone else both in and out of the family that has rolled and dipped over the years.
