1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 1 cup light or regular sour cream 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup flour 1 cup yellow corn meal
Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Stir together sour cream, salt, baking soda; blend into butter mixture. Add flour and corn meal. Stir well. Spread mixture into greased 8" square baking pan. Bake in preheated 400( oven for 20 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
