Description | Cinnamon tortilla chips with a fruity dip. |
Cinnamon Chips
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 cup sugar
Fruit Salsa
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 orange (zest and juice)
- 2 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 medium Granny Smith apples
- 1 kiwi
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoon apple jelly
Spray tortillas with butter flavored cooking spray. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mix. Cut each tortilla into wedges and bake 5-7 min at 475(.
Peel, core and chop apples. Hull strawberries, hull and peel kiwi. Slice strawberries and chop kiwis. Combine prepared fruit with brown sugar, 1/2 cup sugar or to taste, and jelly. Add additional orange juice if necessary. You can save a great deal of time by putting everything in a food processor. You want a nice chunky salsa, not fruit juice. Serve with cinnamon chips.
Gma, Gpa, Sher, and Sue were out visiting Gary and Gretchen last April, and we picked this recipe up at the Omaha Home Show.
